Do I need to reinstall?
Hi,
having a problem with adjustment layers and text. When I add an effect, there is no effect on the screen. Specifically no drop shadow on text, and trapcode’s shine (and CC’s light burst) doesn’t work on adjustment layers… but both were working before.Any ideas?

That is strange have you tried other plugins on your adjustment layer and does the same thing happen or just with those 2 effects?
have you also tried making a new composition maybe Multimedia size 320×240 then add an adjustment layer then the effects which do not work and see if they display on there?

Have tried a few other effects, but no change. I’ll have to let you know about 320*240… any ideas about the drop shadow on text?

Hello, i think the drop shadow would be that AFter Effects can’t read some adjustment and layer effects as you have to do a merge down. But I do believe drop shadow is supported. If you like can you send me your AEP After effects project file and I can open it here and see if I get same problem no effects showing with drop shadow and CC lightburst.
