Do I need an ip address??
Happy holidays all,
I am going to be running a couple of 3.9m LED walls on two different floors, The control area (video village) is to be set up under the stairs between the floors yep, a real tight space. Fortunately, it consists of small audio and a couple of playback pro setups + me, still it’s a tight squeeze!
My controller as usual has no wifi input control only laptop to usb now, I have a wireless router and what I am thinking is, router cat 5 to cat5/usb converter, barrel the usb to a usb A B cable and attach to my control box. My thought is that as long as my mac (XP for control software) is logged in to my wifi I should be able to control my system.
Would appreciate any and all suggestions,

Actually It won’t work but, what will is to leave a laptop by the controller and use team viewer
