March 10, 2013 at 11:14 amHello, I want to export/transcode to DNxHD, but it simply doesnt show up in any way in media encoder as an option. Im on mountain lion 10.8.2 and yes, i did install the Avid codec package.
Anybody got a clue?

March 11, 2013 at 4:13 amChoose Quicktime for the Format and then you should see DNxHD in the codec drop down list.

March 11, 2013 at 8:16 amThat is exactly what isn’t happening; I don’t see dnxhd listed in the codec list.

March 11, 2013 at 8:53 pmOkay, I solved my issues. Apparently I had installed version 2.3.7 of the Avid codecs, however version 2.3.8 made them show up in Adobe Media Encoder and also Mpegstreamclip. Seems like one needs version 2.3.8 to use the codecs in Mountain Lion.
General tip: if you follow any links that are posted in threads, first check if there are any updates newer than that link…;)
