    Choose Quicktime for the Format and then you should see DNxHD in the codec drop down list.

    That is exactly what isn’t happening; I don’t see dnxhd listed in the codec list.

    Okay, I solved my issues. Apparently I had installed version 2.3.7 of the Avid codecs, however version 2.3.8 made them show up in Adobe Media Encoder and also Mpegstreamclip. Seems like one needs version 2.3.8 to use the codecs in Mountain Lion.

    General tip: if you follow any links that are posted in threads, first check if there are any updates newer than that link…;)
