  • DNG Sequence – Import to After Effects – Disable Lens Correction

    Dear Friends,

When I import a DNG Raw sequence into After Effects, and compared the RAW with the proxies, I noticed that, After Effects applies some lens correction onto the sequence. Although the lens profile correction is disabled in the raw settings. So basically the same footage appears cropped from the corners when compared to the proxy or the same footage being imported in premiere. Please download these pics and compare:

How can I disable this lens correction, I need the RAW to match the proxies, any tips?

    Best,
    W

Since when can after effects import DNG…this has caused me trouble in the past…and my solution was to batch process the images in photoshop and import jpegs

I don’t know exactly. I worked with DNG last year for the first time, and it just worked.
