DMX lights on Ofweek for your consideration.
I might get around to some DIY DMX lighting, but for starters, I wanted to just get things to work.
Though I haven’t seen anyone mention these here; I took a chance and ordered a four-pack of Chinese RGB 86-LED PAR DMX lights of Ebay. I finally got a chance to test them last night. After a crash course in addressing DMX devices and channels and understanding the limited Chinese-to-English instructions, I got things working pretty well.

They use four channels; three for RGB and the first channel splits the first half of the range as a diimer and the second half of the range is for a strobe rate at full brightness. The green and blue channels seem to be swapped from the usual – so they’re more like RBG instead of RGB. Once I figured that out, I was able to get the DMX scripts to make the lights behave properly.
If you order them, make sure you look at the power plugs and get the right one for where you are; they have US and international styles.
