  DM-50 vs Sony ECM HW1

  The Canon HV 20 looks like a great little camera for its price point. Sound is always an issue with built in Microphones.

  I have read some reviews on the DM-50 and the Sony ECM HW1. The Sony seems to be a better microphone.

  Has anyone had any experience with the Sony? Will it work with the Canon HV 20? Is there a better solution?

  I like the fact that these mikes are so small and use no cables. I’d rather avoid using the XLR adapter.

  Also, does anyone know if either of these Mikes will work with the New Panasonic AVCHD Proline?
