DLSR proxies showing up white
Hi,
Wondering if anyone has had this issue…proxies are fine on CatDV server, but client computer’s files are showing up as white. Audio is fine. Its random too, some files are fine, some are not. But shows up consistently on same files.

It’s gotta be the installed codecs on the systems.
Can you check more than one computer? Also, try to open the files in QT player and see that they play correctly.

Hi,
Something similar is happening to us from the very beginning with Catdv. So far, I have been converting original files to a different codec or format but now even with MP4/H264 which has been always working with proxies, is showing in white.
Also, when we play the proxy in QT is white.
Other MP4/H264 proxies are fine so I don’t see it has to do with codecs?
This is very nagging since we can’t send clips to be validated outside the office. I have to use Youtube…
