Just making sure, but my only option w/my Deck Link Extreme for out putting to Panasonic
    1200A deck is—

    —nothing but FireWire, right.

Details are FCStudio II, (or whatever the latest is) G5 2.5 DP, 3gigs RAM,
1 T SATA RAID, BM DeckLink Extreme. Panasonic 1200A.

    Thanks,

    p2

there is a Decklink Extreme, and a Decklink HD Extreme. The Decklink HD Extreme will feed an HD-SDI signal to your AJ-HD1200, and you can feed the HD-1200 HD-SDI output into the Decklink HD Extreme. If you have the regular standard def Decklink Extreme – and you spent $25,000 for a Panasonic HD VTR – well, that was a very foolish way to save the $100 difference in price between the 2 Blackmagic cards.

    Hi Guys

What would my HD 1200 deck setting be if I had to capture 50 frame footage or 50 frame footgae aswell, Im on FCP2 and can only capture everything as 25 which means i lose frames and am unable to convert.
My FCP just doesnt see the HD1200 deck on setting that makes sense example.. Blackmagic 720p 50 dvcpro or 60 aswell.

Ive tried diffrent freqencies but nothing worksunles its 25 FPS and fire wire is inly able to capture 59.94
I need the raw 50 and 60 frames shots as is in order to convert.

    PLease help someone!!!

    Thanks
