  DL EXTREME PCIe – Can I plug the card in a “non- short” Express lane?

  Hi Folks!
  Happy new year!!

  I have been suffering with a Premiere Pro instability since last year…

  I did post here last year and i did get some usefull tips.

  I still with 1 doubt:
  Can I plug my DL Extreme PCIe (it’s a short lane) into a standard PCIe Slot? (i mean, the “long” PCIe slot.)

  Here it’s a workaround from Geoff Gartside:
  “We also had trouble with instability on our second monitor (flashes on deleting files etc.) – this stopped when I moved the Decklink to PC1e X1 slot (in the X4 slot I think it shares some resources with the video card).”

  INTEL PENTIUM DUAL CORE
  Asus P5WD2 Premium
