    DL Extreme for HDV Editing

    Hi,

    I read in the DL support section that this is possible. I’ve ingested footage via firewire, but once footage is playing back, in the canvas and viewer video is running fine, but on the external monitor, it’s freezing on the start frame of the footage. Am I using the wrong setting (I’m currently using Blackmagic Decklink PAL 10-bit)? Please advise.

    Hi Robin,

    You’re using the wrong setting. Use the HD settings and let the card do the down conversion.

    If you’ve shot HDV at 1080i60, use the easy setup “Blackmagic HDTV 1080i59.94 – HDV”.
