    DL Extreme capture only mov?

    I tried to capture some footage from DigiBeta to PC via DL Extreme card using Blackmagic Deck Control. The problem is that everything I capture is in .mov and I need it in .avi cause I have subtitling program that doesn’t work with .mov files. Am I doing something wrong here? I can’t find options in preferences where I can choose between .mov and .avi capture.

    Hi,

    Blackmagic Deck Control isa Quicktime based application and will capture to Quicktime’s .MOV format. If you need AVIs, use Adobe Premiere Pro which captures to .AVI.

    so we will still have deck control through premiere?

    Is this the same for the multibridge line?

    Decklink VTR Control is included in APPro.
