    Hello,

I got DJ CTK #3 (at some ridiculously low New Year’s sale price) and I’ve found a major annoyance with the Juicer.

    a. CTK 3 is 23 DVDs … thousands of files and hundreds of GBs of data.
    b. Since they’re not encrypted, I copied everything to a new HD.
    c. Most of the .mov can be used directly in Vegas (no “juicing” necessary).
d.1 FX with mattes can be used directly (both FX.mov and FX_Matte.mov are used) … or
d.2 … it can be exported via the Juicer as a single .mov (Animation with alpha). Tutorial is here:
    https://www.digitaljuice.com/djtv/detail.aspx?sid=352

The major annoyance … it seems that the Juicer can ONLY juice from the DVD. I.e., to export (eg) 001_Water_Curls_Matte.mov with 001_Water_Curls.mov, I have to put the DVD back in … which is utterly ridiculous as I’ve already copied all 23 DVDs.

Has anybody found a way to get around this?
    Thanks,
    – Tyson

    LOL…Not me…lol
I like most of Digital Juice stuff,
But the number one fault i seriously have
with them is the large file sizes contained in
    their products.

I copy all my DVDs from DJ into iso files using imgburn. Then I use Virtual Clonedrive (from Elaborate Bytes) to mount them as needed by juicer. All the iso files are kept on an external HDD. When I need another disc, I right click on the one that’s currently mounted, select “Eject”, then double-click on the iso file I want mounted. As far as Juicer is concerned, I have the DVD in a drive.
