Divx/MPEG 4 Encoding
I’m having some issues with divx encoding in Premiere Pro. The Divx codec leaves my videos looking very artifacted, and Xvid hangs Premiere (CS2) every time I try to use it. Someone recommended that I use Dr. Divx to convert my videos. It works quite well, but the problem is that I produce about 15 5 minute videos per week, and I’ve usually only got a couple of hours from the time I get the footage until I need to have it done. The extra step adds quite a bit of time to the process, and I have to encode in MPEG 4 because I need to be able to upload to YouTube without horrendous audio sync issues.
Does anyone have any ideas for a different codec I could use or some way of fixing the issue that Premiere has with using the codec directly?
Many thanks,
