If you can’t FTP or fileshare a program to the station, and have to send it on physical media, what do you use? Say, if it’s more than 20 gigs but less than 50? Flash drive? Portable hard drive? Dual-layer BD? Maybe (gulp) tape?

Totally dependent on what the station is capable of handling, or is willing to handle. One that I work for still receives some paid program material on DVCProHD, though this is quickly dwindling. One local producer would bring a KiPro drive for playback ingest into our server.
