  Distribute Masks to layers

  Hello …I’m trying to find a way to distribute an illustrator pattern (a grid of “X”) on many layers quickly without doing copy&past each time for each mask.
  Basicly i have to distribute a lot of “X” shapes mask on different layers.
  Is there any plug in or expression that makes by itself?
  Thanks a lot…
