distort vs scale when blowing 16:9 to a 4:3 frame
i just made a 1.33 aspect ratio change on a 16:9 to 4:3
what is better in final cut to use the distort tab to increase picture by 33% or use the scale to increase it by 35 %
original footage was hdv that was squeezed to sd. any opinions on which method is better. Re captureing at full res is not going to happen. this is just a converting footage issue.
