    Hi guys!

    I’m looking for a way to distort a very long (strip shaped) precomp into a circular frame (see example below). I want the right edge of the strip to perfectly align with the left edge. I’m going to create hundreds of those so I need a work flow that is exact and doesn’t involve trial & error. I’ve tried “CC Bendit” and “Polar Coordinates” but I found the results to be kind of random. Or, I didn’t know how to use them correctly. Do you have any suggestions?

    Many thanks-

    Wilhelm

    Precomp Polar Coordinates, Rect To Polar;
    whatever is at the bottom edge will be wrapped along the outside of the circle.

    You will have to also stretch it vertically before the polarcoordinates.

    There will be some distortion inevitable. if you want each figure to be undistorted, but along the circle, then we’ll need a different approach
