Distant blinking lights
Does anyone have any recommendations on how to create the effect of distant blinking lights? (IE. boats or planes in the distance?)

I used multiple instances of Knoll Lens Flare- the Arc Welder preset with just the basic elements (no rings and such), and I animated the size (you can also use an expression)
