Dissolving audio and video
I was told that making an audio and video dissolve into black in the time line can corrupt the Avid (computer). Is it true?

They told me that when I was having failures with the avid. -
In 2.8.x There was a weird problem when you rendered a dissolve at the end of the sequence. Sometimes the effect would corrupt. But that has been repaired in 3.0

Exported files from Avid no longer dig black filler. It’s really just the same bug that doesn’t dig reference exports without mixing down first.
