Hello, I’m trying to make an animation using ‘dissolve’ blending mode but somehow there are some glitchy vertical lines appear across the screen where the pixel values are changing. It is kind of similar to the ‘dancing dissolve’ blending mode where all pixels are moving but just appearing in lines. I would really want to get rid of these glitch of find an alternative way of archiving this effect. (I tried dissolve-dither effect but somehow can’t get single colour pixels with it)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    thanks

The gif you posted isn’t animating for me, but I wonder if what you’re seeing is a Moiré pattern (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moir%C3%A9_pattern).

You might get more control with the block dissolve effect (unchecking the Soft edges option) gives you square blocks. Or possibly the Gradient wipe effect with the gradient being a fractal noise layer?
