  Disregard – I figured it out.

  I have an early Intel Mac Pro and a new G-Raid hard drive. I have just started using Pro Res and am having problems. The AVCHD camera footage Final Cut transferred to Pro Res plays back fine, however the graphics animation I am making in After Effects is giving me problems. When I play back my After Effects Pro Res LT render in Quicktime or Final Cut it plays fine for a couple seconds then starts skipping frames and freezing. Surely my computer and drives are fast enough???
