    This might be of the topic, but I wasn’t sure where to post this.
    I see this allot in blooper reels, making off or video blogs (making of Hobbit). But the footage that they show from the production has some data displayed on the clips. Usually on the top and bottom, for example clip name, timecode, take, project name and etc…

    What software is being used to add this? It doesn’t look like it is from RedcineX.

    This is a function of the hardware/software that is making the dailies.

    DaVinci Resolve has this capability including blanking and advanced resizing.
