Displaying frame information
Hello.
Does anyone know of a Plugin that would be able to display frame information, specifically the name of the source video, over my clip? Noise Industries FxFactory has a plugin close to this, but it lacks the whole source clip info I am looking for.Thanks!

We just released Clip Info Reporter https://assistedediting.intelligentassistance.com/ClipInfoTitler/ in response to a request from the Cow’s Shane Ross. It was released earlier this week and should do what you need. Or we’ll make it do what you need!

If it’s specifically the name of the source clip you need then an XML based solution like Andreas Kiel’s “TCR Plus” or Philip’s “Clip Info Reporter” are your only options, no method other than using XML is currently provided inside FCP to return that info. Just to clarify a bit.
For the automated display of clip names (or other things) you need XML as Andy said and therefore need an app to process and spend some bucks.
For the manual way you can use the TCR Plus filter inside FCP for free.Regards
