    Of course. See the list of overlays in the drop down at the top of the Canvas. However, they only appear for a single frame unless you create a duration for them.

    See the section on timeline markers in the help system. Very confusing and this one of the more poorly conceived parts of the interface since the term “mark” is used so many different ways.

    Thanks, I see the dialogue box that they appear in. I’m wondering if it’s possible to burn the information onto the canvass (or viewer depending on which one is correct to mention here) so it can be seen for screening purposes on dvd…like how the timecode can be put there and it becomes a part of the image that is compressed. Because a slate was not used for this shoot, I need to be able to put the information of the slate at the beginning of each shot.
