    Howdy Cowpokes,

    I am trying to adjust my Acer LCD monitor via OS X’s Display Calibrator Assistant, but I’m getting confused by the very first part:

    ‘ Before you begin calibration, you should make intial adustments to the brightness and contrast controls of your display. ‘

    ‘ First, set the contrast control to the highest setting ‘

    With the contrast at 100% the image appears extremely blown-out. But I continue following instructions
