Just a quick question, I 3D tracked some footage and added a bullet from Element 3D and keyframed it etc. Now I added trapcode particular and and animated it behind the bullet, however I don’t know how to exactly make it look displaced, like a bullet rail. Any ideas?

So would I just create a solid with Particular on it, and then just animate it, but then what do I do?

Precompose your particular layer (making sure to move all attributes into the precomp) and use that layer to drive a displacement map effect.
If you have an animated camera, use the copy with property links feature to put a copy of the camera in your precomp that follows the one in your main comp.

Nevermind, solved it. Just had to duplicate my 3D tracker’s camera and put that into the pre-comp with Particular, and displaced it!
