displacement map won’t tile
hi experts,
i’ve got a problem with displacement map.
i’ve got a bigger image with the effect applied to it, and a smaller image for the map which i’d like to repeat a few times.
YES i’ve precomposed, and YES i can see the displacement, but my problem is that changing between center map, stretch map and tile map doesn’t seem to change ANYTHING!!!! it’s always just the small portion in the center.
what am i doing wrong?!

When you pre-comped, are you sure you made the composition the size of the image, rather than the size of the containing composition?

i was pre-composing from within the same comp i was trying to displace,,,, duh…
