    Hi fellow cow’s,

Im not that in to expressions, trying too.
My question for a expression goes like this

I have pickwhip, the displacement map vertical/horozontial values to my null object, witch controll the camera’s x,y,z.

    thisComp.layer(“Dolly”).effect(“Separate XYZ Position”)(“X Position”)

Where do i put a max value of 20′ to the displacement map value, or if I say that my camera’s max x-position is 300, then the value of displacemnt is 30

    Hope you understand

    Greetings from Denmark

Allright, Took my lazyness in hands and saw some expressions tutorials by Abraham – so found a durable solution.

Your solution will probably involve the linear() function or another form of interpolation. You can check those out in the AE help (F1).
