    Hi,

I am using Premiere Pro 2.0 and on a specific project I keep getting:

“Disk Write Error. Verify dirve connections, available disk space and access privilages.”

I’ve searched around and there is little or no resolve to this. I’ve checked scratch disks etc (500gb free space) – so I don’t think that’s the problem and that’s the only remedy suggested by adobe wiki.

Can anyone help regarding this, or has had this problem in the past and found a fix for it? I don’t want to re-install if possible as I’ve only just done a complete re-install of the creative suite.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Vincent

The issue may be with a faulty hard drive, cable, port or external USB bus. Even an external drive’s power supply can cause issues.
If “C” drive is your System drive it is probably OK. Try temporarily changing Scratch disks to C: drive and moving captured video to it as well.
