That’s because you are changing frame rates. The Kona does a lot of things, but it won’t conform your 720p60 to 1080p24. You can cross convert and capture @ 1080p30 and then conform that to 24p if that will suit your needs. The Kona’s cross convert works very well, it’s just that the time base of the video has to remain the same.

June 2, 2008 at 5:54 pmYes, it’s a good idea to reinitialize the drives between major projects.

July 31, 2009 at 12:16 pmHi Rafael,
I’v been experiencing a slow mac and I wanted to know how to rebuild the my internal HD which is my start up disk. Is there any way to rebuild it, because I get a message that it cannot be rebuilt because it is the start up drive.
Thanks,
Zevie -

July 31, 2009 at 2:59 pmIt’s clear you haven’t read the Disk Warrior instructions Zevie, which are printed right on the original disc, which you will need in order to defrag the system drive. If you have a borrowed copy installed on your computer, it will not work.

July 31, 2009 at 4:20 pmZevie first off this thread is over a year old, it would be best if you had started a new thread to ask your question.
There are clearly some things that you do not under stand about disk warrior.
1- Disk warrior does not do defrag anything. It is used to repair corruption on hard drives.
2- You cannot defrag or repair a disk that you are booted from. You must be booted from another hard drive or from a CD/DVD.Before you do anything the most common reason that a hard drive would make a computer slow is if it is to full. Make sure that your drive has 10-20% free space on it.
There are no “technical solutions” to your “artistic problems”.

August 2, 2009 at 8:39 amThanks, I don’t own DW yet, I think I’m going to go with a clean restore, I’m looking into buying internal hard drives for Mac Pro and I was wondering if the Mac Pro can handle a single 2 TB drive? And which company would you recommend, Western Digital or Seagate?

Yes, 2Gb drives will work. I recommend Hitachi over all other brands because every Hitachi SATA drive I’ve bought over the last four years is still operating perfectly. However, if you have a preference for Seagate or Western Digital, they’re good too.
