Disk Warrior and Xserve RAID?
Is it ok to use Disk Warrior on a RAID 50? Any special considerations because it’s a RAID, or is it basically one big ol’ disk to Disk Warrior?

It will work fine. Use the latest version of Disk Warrior only. Most likely it won’t find anything that needs repair if you’re using your RAID for video. Having said that, I would not run it in the middle of a job/s and I would be very hesitant to run it without a backup of the RAID somewhere. I’ve never had a problem on my Xserve RAID’s with Disk Warrior, but I did loose everything twice when using Disk Warrior on my Huge Systems RAIDs (I think it was an issue with Huge and/or ATTO, but Huge tried and tried and was never able to figure out what caused the data loss).

I just used Disk Warrior, and we have the Huge Systems Raid.
So far, I can’t complain.John
