disk utility: I can’t find a partition tab

October 28, 2005 at 9:47 pmSounds like you have selected the already formatted drive… ie one that you named (Media Drive A, My music hd) already. Try clickin on actual drive icon in the app – it will have a name like Maxtor 233.8 GB 7yb8o5 – or (Seagate, or whomever made it).

October 29, 2005 at 11:45 pmThanks Harry. There are two entries on the left for each drive. I was choosing the bottom one. When I chose the top one the partition tab magically appeared. Thought I had tried every combination possible but apparently I did not.
