    Hi all,
Discovery Channel is now running promos that have rotating 3d cubes that flip over revealing text mapped over many cubes. I can get very close with MoGraph. I can map an image over many cubes, flip them over with a plane effector and a random effector and it looks great. Problem is, like the Discovery look, I want some random cubes to stop in the middle, but when I do that, the flat mapping I use flickers all over the place.
    Not sure what to do.
    Sorry if this is confusing!
    Thanks,
    Chris

Can you render too one with the mapping and the random ones with out and then layer them in a compositing application?

That’s a good idea, thanks! I’ll try that.

    Hi Chris,

Can you show me what you created? I would love to use an effect like that on my clients websites. Maybe I can commission you to do this custom effect for me. Email me andy@webagencies.com.

    Thank you,

    Andy Law
