Posted by Jonathan Gilbert on July 28, 2010 at 12:07 amHow can I get that vintage video discoloration that is only on a part of the frame like in old home movies in Final Cut Pro.

July 28, 2010 at 12:42 amSearch FILM EFFECTS. You will have to composite these with your footage.

July 28, 2010 at 6:45 amDo you have a box of old 35mm photos?
For free you can scan light leaks from 35mm still film that is on all negs. You can do a little manipulation on the stills to get the look you want, and then edit these stills together into a piece of animation you can compost into your footage.Scott Sheriff

July 30, 2010 at 7:05 amYou can, but it will be pixelated. SD to HD will be pretty obvious.
