    Hi all,

How do I get a mirror ball, like the 70’s disco ones ?

I tried it in combustion, almost there but the particle random effect I get doesnt look like it.

    Suggestions accepted.

    Thank you all.

Using Particular, I’d try making dots fly straight across the screen, then apply one of the distort filters such as optics compensation to “fisheye” the dots. Remember, they don’t fly randomly across the room — they go straight across, but the dots closer to the poles travel a shorter distance. Something like that. 🙂

Just about any particle emitter should do it.

You could try “Disco Ball” at Serge Hamad’s:
