  • Disco background video?

Posted by Sam Rose on June 13, 2008 at 4:59 pm

    Hi
My school is doing a show where there is a disco rave and they have asked me to provide some video for the background.

What kind of video would you suggest that would suit this scene?
    Thanks

Yes. You’ll probably need some plugins like Trapcode Soundkeys and Particular. Maybe even Shine

    Yes.
    Easy?
    No.

the presets that can be accessed in AE from Bridge will give you lots of places to start.

In the olden days, we’d have put two clock faces on on overhead projector with some mineral oil and food coloring.

I cant think of a “video” per say. But something like the itunes
full screen motion graphics is what I may try and make or copy.
Its very trippy and techno ravey.

Otherwise, a program like particle illusion can quickly create all kinds of animated backgrounds.

You need to be a little more detailed as to your needs. How long is the video. Can you create a 1 or 2 minute loop. etc etc
