    Disappearing PSD’s

    ive found that if i use a PSD at the end of a spot….when i export that movie from premiere and import the movie in encore. Encore tends to cut the “PSD” which is actually part of an AVI, no longer recognized as a PSD. my question is why is encore cutting of the area that is a still graphic….whats weird is the avi plays fine in a media player, but once its imported to encore the PSD gets cut off. any assistance is greatly appreciated.

    You must be using a version of Encore prior to 2.0.

    PPro has an “optimize stills” export setting for AVIs that earlier versions of Encore do not support. The solution (other than upgrading) is to go the AVI export settings and uncheck “optimize stills”.
