Disappearing gradient widget on shape layer
When editing a gradient fill on a shape layer, sometime I can see the HUD widget that lets me draw the direction and length of the gradient in the comp window. But most of the time, it’s invisible.
How do I bring it back?

Select the shape on the shape layer with the Selection tool.

I tried that. But nothing happened.
After some playing around, it seems the shape and fill both need to be contained a Group object for the gizmo to appear? I take either the fill or shape out of the group and the gizmo disappears.
