  • Disappearing 3d layers..when flying camera through

Hi ..just wondering why 3d layers disappear as I move through my 3d scene with the camera? Every time I make a complicated scene..I got to deal with this. I’ve carefully place all layers in their proper 3d space above or below one another with no intersecting…however…during the camera fly through, some layers disappear momentarily or start appear or disappear relative to the position of the camera.

Why does this happen and how do I avoid it?

    thanks as always…

Does this kind of thing happen in the CS4 version. I’m on CS3.

I’m not sure what you’re seeing but this doesn’t happen in CS3 or CS4 for me. Of course if the layers are being seen from the side they disappear since they have no Z-depth.

Could what you’re seeing be either 1) an OpenGL issue (turn it off!), or 2) that the 3D layers are separated by a 2D layer (even an adjustment layer) in the timeline?
