Disabling video channel thumbnails

If you want to keep the waveforms but only remove the thumbnails, Vegas Pro 9 has a new option that will allow you to do that as well under Options – Preferences – Video tab.

I have the same Preferences option in Vegas Pro 8 — I can set event thumbnails to “None”, “All”, “Head, Tail”, or “Head, Center, Tail”. I seem to recall that the option has changed a bit in Vegas Pro 9, but I can’t remember how. ?

The default used to be All but is now Head-Center-Tail.
If you’re not aware of it (a LOT of users don’t bother to read the Readme file so they weren’t), it can be rather puzzling 🙂
