DirectX PlugIn problem — Vegas 6 related?
I downloaded and installed Vegas 6 but I’m not using it yet. I’m still using v.4 to finish some ongoing projects. Ever since I installed v.6 I get an error message whenever I open a v.4 project. It says that three Sonic Foundry plug-ins are not installed: Track Noise Gate, Track EQ and Track Compressor. I can close the error message and open the project and work alright. And, in fact, those three plugins show up normally in the list of available plug-ins.
Could the v.6 installation be causing conflicts? Is this a problem or should I just click past the error message and forget about it all when I move over to v.6?

Did you install the trial or full (serial # enabled) version of Vegas 6?

Hi. It’s the full version, downloaded from the website with the introductory offer. I can’t remember whether it asked me to key in the serial number but I suppose that it did.
