Direct Burn DVD w/o Menu from Pr CS4
Trying to direct burn a dvd of a sequence from Export/Media. I chose Mpeg 2-dvd and clicked on the dvd rw drive. It doesnt’ direct burn. I get a Windows 7 screen wanting me to choose the type drive (i.e., USB Flash Type or Cd/DVD) I chose CD/DVD. It will put the video on it, but there is no audio. In Encoder I chose to export audio and video.

You cannot burn a dvd directly from AME. Youve got Encore to do that for you.

In premiere select the sequence you want… then go to file > dynamic link> send to encore. insert a blank dvd then choose the build tab and hit “build” button. Encore will transcode and burn everything for you. If you want the dvd to loop then you need to select the timeline in the project panel then in the properties panel use the pic whip next to “end action” and pic whip it back to the timeline in the project panel. That will create a loop. Then select the build tab and hit the “build” button.
