Dip To White Transition: Effecting all tracks beneath it
Hopefully this hasn’t been addressed, I was unable to find this problem elsewhere.
I have a 1080p / 29.97 sequence with two video tracks.
V1 is an After Effects composition brought into Premiere via Adobe Dynamic Link – this is essentially the background.
V2 is a Stand Def video file being played over that animation, only being displayed at 100% scale on the left hand side of the screen. There is a jump cut that occurs in V2 and I want to apply a Dip to White transition.
When I apply this transition between the clips in V2, the Dip to White effects my entire sequence visually.
So rather than just the small clip, having that transition, everything on the screen dips to white.Even dragging the cilp on V2 up to V3 does not change this.
This DOES happen as well with Dip To Black.
However, it does not happen with other transitions.
And unfortunately, the Morph Cut transition just looks too strange for this clip.Is there a setting I am missing?
