i have a G5 with OS 10.5.8 and a MacPro that i just installed Snow Leopard on. They are both connected via ethernet cable to my router, and they used to see each other and be able to transfer files between each other before i upgraded the one to SL. Now, in the Finder window of each, the other computer shows up as “Shared”, but when i click on it to actually connect i get, “Not Connected”. They are both “shared folders” with “Ignore ownership on this volume” also checked. Any ideas?

thanks for helping out a bonehead!
