  Dimension problem importing avi

  I brought a PAL tiff sequence into AE 7 and wanted to convert it to NTSC. I created an NTSC comp and brought in the PAL file and collapsed it down to fit NTSC dimensions, turned on frame blend and rendered out as an uncompressed avi. But when I import it into Encore 2, the video is stretched out to the sides and a lot of the image is missing. This is not the case when I bring it into Premiere Pro 2. Is this an Encore problem or an After Effects problem?

  BTW: This problem does not happen if I create a QT file.
