    By digitizing someone, in this video, do you mean the blue-looking versions of the singers? To me, this just looks like an effect applied to the video, possibly Red Giant Trapcode Form, using the video as a depth map.

    To me, digiting means actually creating a 3D person, then applying texture maps of the singer to the face and body of the 3D model. There’s a way to do this using Daz Studio, which is free:

    You do have to purchase a plugin which then lets you capture the face texture from a digital still:

    It’s a third party plugin and is on sale right now for about 50 dollars.

    Joe’s suggestion of using Form is good.

    Check out the Form Face [link] tutorial, which mimics the 3D pin effect from the Radiohead “House of Cards” video.
