    Digitizing Resolutions From DV Camera

    I’m digitizing to my Avid Adrenaline from a DV camera via firewire cable.

    Is it better to digitize at 1:1 or at DV25-411? Does digitizing at DV25 give me poor quality video or does it take advantage of the DV format?

    Coming in via firewire from a DV deck at 1:1 does nothing except give you big files. Digitize at DV25 and you’ll get the same quality.
