  digitizing problem

  I’m having a never-before experienced problem while attempting to digitize video. I’m doing a SD project
  and import my video from a variety of sources through a Canopus unit. I’ve never had a problem before. During the last couple of days, I’ve noticed that now when I hit the “capture now” button, there’s a lag of 10 to 15 seconds before the digitizing begins. On top of that – the digitizing stops each time after about 10 seconds or so. Then when I play back the video that I captured, it plays back at almost double speed.

  I had an experienced production editor take a look and he can’t figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.
