digitise via eSata?
I am running Premiere Pro on a laptop that has neither Firewire nor Expresscard but does have eSata. What are my options for digitising in DV/HDV?

Do you have a firewire or USB 3 port on the laptop??

A decent eSATA drive (7200rpm, not too old) will be more than enough to capture and edit DV and HDV.
Both DV and HDV are about 25Mbs, and today’s drives run 20-30 faster than that.
