digital transcription software
Hi,
I’m wondering if anyone has experience using digital transcription software. I’m planning to export select audio from FCP to be transcribed and don’t want to use an old analogue transcription machine. I’m looking for software that has a pedal feature where I can control the speed, back up a few seconds, etc. Generating timecode is not important. Looking to hear from anyone who has tried this process. Thanks, Jane -

this one works with QT, audio and DVD (although DVD is not as handy as QT)

(As long as certain keys you want to use are not used by the word processor. In MSword you can turn off some unused functions, giving you a function key to insert TC)There is a free demo that should give you enough feedback if you like it. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to mail me direct.
